Bellinis Tearoom Booking & Cancellation Policy

Bellinis Tearoom operates two sittings for Afternoon Tea at 12.30pm and 3.15pm, seven days a week. In accordance with COVID19 safety measures, we are offering a strictly limited number of bookings per service.  We are currently taking bookings for our Afternoon Tea service only (limited menu) and will review this on a weekly basis until we are confident that our guests can continue to be served, to the best of our ability in a COVID safe environment.  In order to receive the best level of service from us, we ask that once you have secured a reservation at a particular time that you adhere to that time as we are unable to offer a waiting area due to limited space and the necessary social distancing.

 

We strongly recommended that groups reserve a table in advance for Afternoon Tea. This can be done through our website where all the information is clearly set out.  While we will always try to accommodate walk-ins, we cannot guarantee that a table will be available and you may be required to wait or return at a later time.  Due to the current COVID19 situation, we are unable to offer a waiting area within our tearoom, due to the limitations on space and you may be asked to wait outside.

 

If a reservation is made then the table is yours for the whole of service sitting and we do not normally ask you to vacate a table.

 

However, should you arrive more than 20 minutes after your booking time without forewarning, then you may forfeit your table or have your time cut short as we are unable to extend the time of any booking, if arriving late.  If the table is not required for the next sitting, we may be able to accommodate you; this will be at the discretion of the Manager on the day.  We would respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation.

 

It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the point of booking; please contact Bellinis Tearoom prior to your arrival, to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.

 

Tables are allocated on the day by the restaurant team and although we will do everything we can to allocate a table in your preferred area of the dining room, we cannot always guarantee this.

 

For customers with mobility issues, please note that our toilet facilities are upstairs. 

 

Payment Information

All bookings can now be paid in full via our online booking system at the time of booking.  Any additional items will be charged on the day.

 

Alternatively, if you wish to pay on the day, a deposit of £5.00 per person will be taken for all Afternoon Tea bookings, regardless of party size and is due at the time the reservation is placed. This amount will be deducted from the total bill on the day.

 

All other standard methods of payments are accepted, including American Express and ApplePay & GooglePay.  In light of COVID19 Bellinis Tearoom are working to become a cashless café but will continue to take cash payments for the foreseeable future.

 

For all bookings, failure to notify us of a cancellation, or any change to the number of guests at least 24 hours prior to your booking, we reserve the right to retain the £5 per person deposit.

Cancellations

The continued viability of Bellinis Tearoom relies on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations.

 

Accordingly, the following applies:

We reserve the right to retain the £5 per person deposit for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without prior notice.

 

For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 24 hours prior to your booking. 

 

Bellinis Tearoom reserves the right to retain the £5 per person deposit fee for any bookings changed or cancelled within this 24-hour notice period, due to the cost incurred by Bellinis Tearoom in terms of staffing, food and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.

 

We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied.

 

Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice, will also incur a £5 per person fee.
